Kô&Kô

Imagined and created by the famous painter Maria Helena Viera da Silva and the writer Pierre Guegen, this original work published in 1933 is set to music in 2019 by the composer Sergio Azevedo. The three interpreters converse with the video animation directed by Maud Alessandrini on the original paintings while Maria de Meideros lends her voice to the narration. The poetry of the story, its surreal aspect, the beauty of the drawings and the evocation of the landscapes that the protagonists cross give birth to an inspired and captivating musical tale.
