Le Petit Prince

The most famous tale of Antoine de St-Exupéry carries a universal message that is addressed to all audiences. Associating it with a sound universe ranging from Claude Debussy to Steve Reich including improvisation and techno music allows for a musical panorama of the 20th century in 45 minutes. Created in 2012 and remodeled 2016, this educational concert revolves around the interaction between the students, here both musicians and reciters, and an imaginary interlocutor whose voice is sampled, triggered and distorted by a computer program. Around this structure allowing the students to develop their oratory qualities, a musical universe is set up with various objectives: group play in autonomy, coordination, flexibility and improvisation. All in order to create context around the learning of string instruments by staging it in the form of a rich teaching show.
